Pokemon vs Peer Pressure!
Now I’m not going to go into detail because everyone under the Sun knows what Pokemon is, or at the very least has a vague idea about it. As popular as it was/is the question will always be…
“Are you too old for it?”
Most of the fans from “back in the day” are now currently (from the date of this article) ranging from mid 20′s to early 30′s, most have probably quit playing the games and never looked back but with the upcoming Pokemon X and Y on the 3DS I gotta say I’m very tempted to give it a go.
It still remains a solid RPG experience to this day! But yet there is still that inner thought or guilty pleasure warning in my mind questioning if I’m “Too old” for it now.
I’m sure people reading this will be split on the whole, possibly even judgemental but I can’t really fault the mechanics of the games. And the new X and Y versions so far are looking to add a fresh experience to a winning formula.
Looks like it’s time for me to dust off the old Pokeballs and give it a shot!
Now this article is just about the games and not the anime or merchandise but below is a link to a video I found interesting…granted I can’t really agree with sleeping with toys or whatever the guy goes on to say but the message is clear: Just enjoy what makes you happy! (within reason I’d say! make sure you pay your bills and handle life issues too! lol)
